New pool build salt water system

Just be sure they leave a sufficient straight run of pvc just before the water returns to the pool. Are you going to have automation? What brand equipment are you having installed?
I am thinking now about adding automation. Pump and lights are Hayward. No heater yet.

Omni PL would be the easiest transition as your pump and lights are Hayward. Include the SWCG and all is good. Heater typically does not matter, unless you wish to get one of the connected heat pumps. Then you likely should stick with Hayward.

One big one in the main pool and two inside the two bubblers on my sun shelf. The main one lights the entire pool well. We find we don't use the light as much as we would like, because it seems to attract bugs. Although, we have found that red and yellow colors attract less bugs, but our favorite colors are in the blue spectrum.

When you do use the main 1 . Would it be better with 2. Or think too much light

With no automation, I would recommend a Pentair Intelliflo3 with relay board and touchscreen. Add an Intellichlor IC40 or IC60, depending on pool volume, as it can be wired through one of the relays on the pump board. Your lights can too. You can then use the Pentair app to control everything.
I am thinking of automation now but trying to make that cost make sense now. Or do it later . Pool builder will only use hayward

Our lights are either all on or all off. If you don't have a shelf, then one light will light the whole pool fine. Again, we only use the light occasionally because it attracts bugs(beetles and moths), which land in the pool.
