New Pool Build Pearland, TX

Well weather has calmed down, plumbers showed up yesterday and finished up this morning, electricians up next. I was told tile and stone next week. Excited things are moving along!

Stenner Pump and 15gal tank arrived also. I had plumbers add a tee with a plug downstream the chlorinator for my injection point. Gotta love all the information this forum has to offer!

Electricians came out today, didn’t take them but a few hours but everything is wired up. Had him make a couple extra runs for me on the side so I could have an outlet on the back fence for my future patio area and also up under the roofline for a tv.

Well it’s been quite some time since my last update but I’ve had some issues with the tile crew not showing up and when they do show it’s only one guy. The last few days no work has happened due to the fact they fired the only tile guy that was working because he was doing some stuff on the side for my neighbor...darn neighbors! He just had to have him do a rolled edge on his spa! Anyways work should get back to normal tomorrow, concrete to be poured next week and hopefully I’ll have my pool within the next 3 weeks!

My latest pics. They still have quite a bit of stone left to do on the grotto. When they are done you will not be able to see the concrete shell.

He was SO close to being done! The work he did looks awesome. How did they find out he was doing work on the side? Darn tattle tales!

Some times it is the little things like a bigger driveway that makes life SO much easier!

Tile guys are are finally done. Well not completely we have some things we want corrected but they are working with us with no push back. Hoping to have the deck poured soon, clean up, and finally plaster. Let’s be real though it’s going to be another month! Soooo close yet so far. Once they fill the pool and get out of my way than my work begins! Gotta get my tv/audio all installed, landscaping, build up my gazebo... come on summer already.

Man that looks nice!!! I can't wait to see water flowing down it! Glad to hear they are willing to fix what you want fixed.

You will have plaster just when the sun is shining everyday and warm enough to jump in when you are done!

Thanks Kim! I can't either, i'm so ready for our first day of laziness just chillin and grillin and passing out pool side to the sound of that waterfall. This is gonna be a stay at home summer for sure. I cant thank this site enough for all the help up to this point. I just can't see how people went about building pools back in the day without all the information we have today.
