New pool build June(started)

You can and should test the water right out of the hose as well. That gives us a base to work from day to day.

Do NOT bother testing for CYA thought. It has be added so there is none in your water yet.

If you look on the site you bought the kit from you will see they have videos showing how to do the tests. Let me know if you get worried about any of them...........oh so on the FC test once it changes color to clear call it. If you let it sit it might turn back to pick.....does not count.

So hopefully I’ll have the equipment hooked up tomorrow. I’m trying to figure this test kit out right now. I got the tf100 with the smart stir and k1766 salt test. I have no idea where to even begin on this.
I added Some bleach today and stirred it up. I haven’t added any salt yet.

Yeah, currently trying to get cya up and TA down. Still trying to get the grading around the around the pool deck done. I’m building dirt up to hold the stone in for a concrete deck. I’ll take some pics of the slope we had to deal with. But the back side of our pool was about 3’ out of the ground.
I’ll also get a pic of our equipment pad. We originally had all Hayward equipment but found out our pump was undersized, so when we tried to get a bigger one they were out of stock. Ending up with a pentair pump to go with our Hayward filter and swg. Doesn’t seem to be a problem for now

Still trying to grading and backfilling around pool ready for concrete. We were thinking of having a 8-12” collar(coping) poured first along with stairs going up to our deck. Thought about doing a charcoal gray for that and then just regular for the rest of the pool deck. Should be close to 2000 sqft pool deck.
Does anyone have any recommendations for concrete anchors for the safety + winter cover. We also plan on having a b-ball hoop and volleyball net. Do I need sleeves ready for that prior to concrete? Umbrella holders?
