Just curious, is there going to be water in those narrow channels? I mean, it looks amazing but that is going to be a b***** to brush.
I know.....It is bad in a way when you get a architecture designer to design a plan, and she is all thinking of how pretty things are going to look but forget about how difficult it is going to be for people to take care after that....However, I signed off the plan~~~ I did not realize that until there is no return.....There are a lot of this type of design on HOuzz though for more modern home....I guess that everyone is having a great time brushing!
From a design point of view, we really did not have much a choice to be able to have everything, spa, decking to sit and lounge, and a long pool in our backyard due to the space, and where the master bedroom is sitting and city requirement of set back. We did not want to step out the master bedroom and into the pool, so there got to be a deck somewhere outside the master bedroom. So the deck has to be outside of the master bedroom, and the spa and the pool have to be on each side of the deck. Otherwise, the pool will be too small if we put the spa and the pool together without the deck. Then they told me that in order to have one set of equipment, the spa and pool have to be connected somehow. Then that is where the water channel comes in to play, to connect the pool and spa together into one circulation. So, I am counting on my lovely husband to do the brushing....likely not, haha.

Yes the view is gorgeous. You should withhold last payment in lieu of a brushing agreement where the PB himself comes to brush your pool once a week for the first year. I bet he will never design a pool like that again.

That is exactly what I am going to do once it is all done.....except with a glass of wine or a pretty martini!
Pool is filling now.... Almost done I think, a couple of more hours. Here are some pre filling pics.
It is aweful that both I and my hubby work so we can never be home to see what is going on. They came to plastered yesterday and we came home after dark so could jot see anything.... These pictured were what we woke up to this morning!

Looks like a good plaster job. And hopefully the weather man is going to be right about it being 75-80 all weekend!!!

Woke up to a surprise! Pool is full and looking pretty! Not sure what else is on the schedule but so far we are happy about.

From the other end of the pool... Hopefully everything after this will be well and no leaks... A lot of plumbing are in the pool wall since the yard is so narrow....
