New Pool Build in Mckinney Texas

Ok..need some help. After much debate, I don't want to rum the Nature2 clorinator. I want to move to SWG or liquid bleach. I don't want to use the Jandy SWG. What are my options for SWG I can tie into my Aqualink RS? I am thinking in the TX sun bleach is going to get expensive. Reminder my pool is 33k gallons

Chad can you please fill in your signature. That is going to help everyone see what your pool has at a glance. Go to settings (upper right of this page), edit signature (middle left of that page). Put in pool kind and size (gals), equipment size and kind, any special features like automation and waterfalls and such.

Now on the SWG-good idea! It will be much easier now and in the future! I have heard it said it is best to keep the equipment in the "family" so they can talk to each other if you have automation. I am going to ping someone that is better able to help you with kinds of SWG for your equipment. Hold on a bit while they get back with us.

Hello Chad - Kim is correct about staying in the family if you want everything to communicate. If you stay with Jandy, you can control the chlorine output automatically or remotely. On the other hand, you are correct about the Jandy salt system not creating as much chlorine as some other systems. The Pentair Intellichlor IC40 can create up to 1.4 pounds per day. You can still connect the Intellichlor to your Jandy system but you would make all the adjustments at the Intellichlor cell.

So Aquapure will do 1.25. Not a big gap between the two. However with double the size suggestions, shouldnt I be looking at a 60K if possible? I dont mind having to make adjustments at the cell as long as I can still connect and view via the Aqualink system.

The salt cell will last longer if you go with a 60k system. As far as monitoring via the Aqualink system, you'd need a Jandy Purelink power center and an Aquapure cell if you want to see salt levels and other salt system diagnostics.

Just about there. The 4 Helix torches took 2 months to get in and they sent the wrong torches. So another 2 weeks on those. Landscape around the pool is complete other than hanging our old signs.

Other project left is a bocce ball court in the side yard.

Ready for a summer of fun!
