This is great! I love the firepit and wall - stones are perfect to accent the materials on the pool. The waterfall will be wonderful. I can see the kids loving that!
What kind of coping is that? I really like it! And I can't get over the size of the pool. It's huge! I wish I had had room for a larger pool. But mine is much better for my pocket book!!!
The woods around the pool are beautiful. You're going to have a fabulous setting!
Keep the pictures coming as fast as you can!
Take care,
Suz.
Thanks, Suz. It will be lovely when it is done. We can't wait. The coping is Techo Blu 60 Champlain Grey. It is still pretty dusty but we are very happy. I was most worried about that choice. We had intended to do a poured concrete but I really like how this looks with the rocks and more natural look of the area. Fingers crossed we have water in two weeks!
We have part of a patio. I live how it looks so far. Pebble and water next week, I am told. So happy with how things are looking. My wallet is less pleased, but my eyes are so happy!
Wonderful! I'm already seeing patio furniture on it looking out to the pool! Time to drink the coffee or tea out by the pool!! (if you guys haven't been doing so already)
Suz.
Patio is done and waiting for Pebble day. I am told water this week so fingers crossed. It has been unusually hot here in Massachusetts so I was sad the pool wasn't ready, but we have years of enjoyment ahead. Here are some pics of the finished decking. I can't wait to see it with water.
That is a nice looking patio! Love the colors! It looks like it is doggy approved!
Take a good, overall pic of your equipment. Write notes about what does what. Those labels will wear/fade over time. Put the pic in a folder with all of the other pool paper work. It might come in handy if you need someone to help with the pool.
Now do me a favor. Make sure there is someone that can double check the color of your plaster! We had one member that came home to find they had put on the WRONG color! It was a much lower lever color/type They had to chip it all out and start over. Come to find out they had two houses mixed up and the other house got an upgraded plaster.
This is really looking nice! The patio pavers look fantastic and although our summer is nearly over, like you said, you'll get years of enjoyment out of the pool.
So, they came and left without a word. It was wet this morning so not sure what is happening. I am inclined to put off finishing until spring at this point if they don't come back today. With it being so late, we are essentially just opening to close again. We could save this costs for some fun pool toys. Is there any downside to this? My builder is excellent so I have no worries there.
Wow, that's a tough call. It is getting late up her in New England. There are still a bunch of 80+ degree days in the forecast.
My PB is waiting to install salt and SWG till plaster has cured for 30 days. Monday of next week is 30 days. At this point I think I'm keeping my pool open till beginning of October.
Well, this is the first time in my build I have been frustrated. Pebble guys cam and went without a word and basically have rescheduled us for Tuesday. Ugh.
That is what I understand. I totally understand they can't control the weather but given I had said hello and they knew I was here, a quick word would have been appreciated. They didn't even let my builder know until noon. Nobody's fault, just feeling very let down. I'd love to be done.
