New pool and hot tub owner.

I joined this forum because I am interested in lower cost and easier maintenance. My hot tub I just had 3 weeks and my CYA was very high. I just drained it, shocked it last night. Ready to try the BBB method.
our pool is a 21 ft above ground and I just bought a floater and put 2 three inch tabs in it with it all the way open.
I am open to learning the best and easiest methods.

Welcome to TFP! For the water, make sure to review our ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry. In addition, read & save those Vital Links below in my signature. They help tremendously. If you don't have a TF-100 test kit already (link also below), make that a priority too. The Taylor K-2006C will suffice as well. But you need one of those.

For the tub, if you 've never sone an Ahh-Some treatment, make sure to do one.

Well, my water was getting sickly in the spa. Chemistry was fairly well maintained for 4 months. That and never having done a deep clean, time to do it. Ordered Ahh-some online and it arrived just in time today. Drained the tub last night, refilled this morning then added Ahh-some and followed...
