Good morning everyone!

Electrician will be done today, rough electrical inspection tomorrow.

Pool prep crew will be here tomorrow and plaster will happen Thursday or Friday (I'm pushing for Thursday!)

We've almost got water!!

I bet you are finding the inspectors know most of the guys doing the work and know if they are the good ones or the bad ones..................Oh it was Jim Smith?? CHECK..........oh my it was Billy Bob??? better check over VERY careful!!!

So any idea when that last thing will happen???

Have we talked about fill up care does and don't? Put a sock on the end of the hose. This will help filter the water some and keep the metal end off the new plaster.

Once the water starts do NOT stop the flow of water! Stopping the water before it reaches the middle of the water line tile can cause a ring to form on the new plaster :(

Here are my go tos for plaster start up. The first one does have one thing wrong..........you should wait 6 hours before adding water. Other than that I have been told it is a good one. The other two links will give you some more ideas:
 
Our plaster guy @onBalance is the one that told us this "rule" He is the one that has guided all of our start up threads. He is one I DO listen to as he has done a LOT of hands on research on plaster-how to do it properly AND how to NOT do it properly to show what can happen.
