That's the same finish we're getting (hopefully within the next 10 days). Hopefully it will look that good or better in real life! Good luck

Thank you. I'm getting mine Monday or Tuesday I'll let you know how turns out. We like the water color of Antigua but didn't like the snurf blue on tan ledge that's why went lighter. Plaster guy was super honest with us. He said he can't guarantee but should give a good deep blue. Deep as we could get with out going more blue with plaster. We shall see

We liked Antigua a bit better but the PB wanted an extra $1,800. So we decided to stick with Aqua Blue. Hope it looks great in your pool and ours!

Lol on the April fool's! My daughter is just downright cruel to her husband for April fools. He threw away his entire lunch last year because she texted him asking how he liked his lunch. Lol!
Did you file a police report? You could probably press charges against the crazies.

Beautiful water color! Praying the rain holds off for you!

We called police and never showed up. The one that finally came didn't stop. My insurance will take care of it.. The financial problems they got coming are enough karma. My insurance is going to take them to court to recoup mine and there money. May take a while but we will get it.

Some say yes, some say no. No harm can from sealing it if you want to spend the money and time.

I THINK you would be fine not doing it since you have found TFP and have a good test kit on the way. You will always have your water balanced so that SHOULD eliminate the need to seal.

Lol I sent old plaster salesperson message stating we no longer needed there service 2 days ago. Yesterday I got an email pushing my plaster date out again. Didn't see email till today when I got another one from them. The cancelled my whole job all together. I'm glad I switched companies but I think there office and salespeople may need to communicate more. Pretty poor customer service. Not knowing I already cancelled you would of that they would give me option to reschedule not just get rid of us. This after weeks and weeks of trying to get meeting with salesperson to see samples and make a choice.

This is not all that in common for an OB pool this time of year, most companies are at least 3 weeks booked now. Remodel jobs have higher profit margins and are the bulk of the work. Then you add HOA and management companies to the list, they are responsible for 100 plus jobs a year they will also come first. Then factor in plaster for pool builders, most sub it out, and add hotels that need last minute work to the mix. Companies will fight for OB work in off season but not during peak season (starts in February usually).

After my O/B project and helping several others my number one bit of advice would be/is BUILD OFF SEASON. Several reasons 1) Availability, I couldn't even get excavators to bid on my project they were so busy 2) Better pricing/negotiation room 3) Time spent on job, they're not rushing from job to job and you can get them back if you need to 4) You're not rushed to make decisions. If it takes additional week or so to pick a color or get a sub out it's not a big deal, you're not rushing to get in your pool. IF I ever do this again I'm starting in November ;)

This pool is going to be death of me lol. We were supposed to have had plaster done today but due to weather was cancelled which we understand that. They sent email saying rescheduled for Tuesday and I assumed (my bad) it was tomorrow. Just rechecked email and it is for next Tuesday. Im waiting for email response from them. Here I go assuming again. I assume they put us into a spot that had a cancellation and now that weather came and messed that up we went back to our original spot we would of been in. Lol
