New O/B Las Vegas needs help lol

NO wonder you are so unsure! "Medium blue" for ALL of them??????????? I am no help as I have no idea what any of those plasters look like in person. :(

SO here is what I will say..........

-prism blue-I do not care for it due to the orange and brown pebbles.

Of the others I like how the plaster and pebbles looks in all of them without water. NO idea what they will look like with water.

Ya now can see why so confused.

It does help to see pools in person with the different pebble colors you are interested in, and we had a box of samples at home that we wet with water to see what tones and even pebble colors stood out. We had also seen some sample pools at a pool builder's office that used many different pebble shades within the pools, and that really helped us decide that it was important to us for the pool to look pretty at all depths - like our tanning ledge, steps and spa. For this reason, we steered away from grays because while it looked pretty in the deeper parts it looked like wet cement in the shallower parts. My color choice won't help you since it's a different manufacturer - Wet Edge Satin Matrix Tahitian Tropical. My pool builder said that we would be able to make some tweaking requests on our color choice too with Wet Edge. So if you love Aqua Blue but think it has too much black pebble for your taste, you could ask to reduce or eliminate that black and increase the white pebble. Worth asking about if you're 95% in love with a shade with one little exception!

Wet edge was our first choice. We emailed and called about pricing. Month later got a price. That was after sending and calling numerous times. My plumber was at my house and talking about plasters told me wet edge is good give guy another chance. So I emailed owner and was very nice and apologetic. Took full responsibility for first issues. After talking with guy for while really liked guy. So we wanted to set a date for plaster with them. I asked to see some samples. Office lady said field salesman have samples. So I called owner left message about setting up meeting to see samples no response. After a week of emails and calls with no return we decided to not use this company. Now company we did choose having exact same problem. We can't get a meeting to save our life to see samples but have a plaster date in 2 weeks. We are now not comfortable with this company. These were choices in our budget we liked with wet edge. We have a basic tan and brown pool.

I'm so sorry you are have such trouble. So frustrating! Can you pop in their office?

Both of the places I've been dealing with have offices but all samples are with sales people. I asked why didn't have samples in office they both said because secretary wouldn't be able to explain or answer correct answer for ?. Both of these companies do a lot of pools here in Vegas. There is 2 other companies that are 1500-3000 more for same product. We really wanted a wet edge product. From reading and watching videos they seem to have a smoother pebble the pebble Tec. So we are now trying to decide if want to give wet edge people another shot

Brand I was thinking about you this weekend. Wondered if you had picked a color yet..........not only have you not picked a color but back to square one for a company :( Man you cannot win. I wonder what would happen if you talked to the owner of the companies?

I've spoke to both owners. We think we have decided to go back to wet edge as that is first product we both liked. We think we have found a color that will work. Aqua blue has some colors that will work for our pool. It is also a medium blue. Plus has a little blue rocks that will make it not so plain.

Vibrant and very pretty!!

Thank you. We really wanted a tan pebble but didn't like the green water look. We had one co tractor say our pool wouldn't look green but every picture I've seen that's what it looks like. Another contractor told us it would be green. So we wanted something of a m neutral color that would make a deep blue pool color. The blue rocks in it will give it a little pop that we were looking for.

In my opinion, and it is just that, the plaster color makes more of an impact on water color than the pebbles do. Having said that, a whiter plaster matrix, I think, picks up more of the environmental colors that surround the pool. Just a theory . . .

Thanks man all opinions help. I'm kinda seeing that also. We didn't want a smurf blue plaster. It would make deep end nice but our wet deck wouldn't look good in our opinion. We have been struggling because we both hate just white plaster look. We don't have many trees or bushes so pool plaster will kinda be the color it makes pool.
