New NPT Stonescape Mini Pebble Cleaning

3 weeks ago, I had my pool resurfaced with NPT stonescape mini pebble.

I have debris at the bottom of the pool that I want to get out with my leaf net, but I am worried about scraping my new finish with the net.

I am trying to avoid putting in my pool robot for another week or more to be safe.

Will my leaf net damage new finish? What should I use?

I suggest getting a manual vacuum set up for things like this. The hose will got to your skimmer and it will suck the stuff down to the filter. You will need a pole, vacuum head and hose.

I'm in the same boat, but only a week old pebble finish. I'm a bit confused why all pebble finish care instructions I've found online say to use suction cleaners without wheels, but my suction head has little rollers on the bottom and I don't know of any different type - how else would it glide over the surface of the pool?
I'd love to vacuum to accelerate the removal of the dust it seems I'm just pushing around twice daily.
Thoughts?

note the "brushes" instead of wheels. It glides just fine as you push it around the pool with the pole.
