Thanks! I have been studying the ABC's quite a bit. I have a Taylor K-2006 kit. I haven't had any problems to speak of yet after filling up the pool last weekend. My biggest unanswered question (which I am sure is in one of the forums) is regarding TA and adjusted TA. When I test my TA with the kit, which has been (90-100ppm/9-10 drops) does PoolMath automatically adjust it in the PH section where it ask for alkalinity? I would think it would need me to enter my CYA number (41 last tested at pool store over the weekend) to adjust the alkalinity reading. The pool store showed my Total Alkalinity (input) 103 and adjusted at 89. How does PoolMath work regarding TA and adjusted TA?

When necessary (I believe for CSI) it is taken into account. It is not necessary to bother with adjusted for normal pool water chemistry.

I will let @JoyfulNoise provide more in depth chemistry discussion.

You just put in your measured TA from the test kit. PoolMath makes any adjustments to the TA value for calculations.
