Hi, I’ve had my hot tub (Hot Springs Sumatran) since 2004 or 2005. For 8 years was outside on my deck, but now for 10 years it’s in the second stall of my condo garage, which sounds awful, but it’s not. I don’t have a lot of trouble balancing, but had some trouble in the spring and purchased a K-2006 test kit, which intimidated the heck out of me, so I want to get comfortable using it and understanding what I’m doing instead of looking at colors on a worthless test strip. I am interested also in learning about the best chemicals to use and how to avoid ones that aren’t so good.
