Hi!
I thought I had signed up years ago, but apparently not. I've been using TFPC knowledge for just about all the past 15 years since going the owner/builder route to install our 18' x 35' inground gunite pool (27,200 gal) in the backyard here in sunny Danville, about 30 miles due east of San Francisco in the East Bay area of Northern California. Salt water generated chlorine, coupled with bromates (thanks for that, TFP), solar collectors on the roof with a small Harbor Freight transfer pump (so I don't have to run the pool pump) and a hydraulic pool cover to keep pool water, heat and chlorine in and dirt, dust and other organic materials out completed the build.

TFPC complements my DIY personality, and am so thankful I found the website 15 years ago and learned all I could to take care of my pool myself. In all honesty, without TFP's knowledge from others who've been there before, I probably wouldn't have gone on with the build, as it demystified water chemistry and allowed me to provide a sparkling clear pool for my family with much less cost than I would have had to endure in this most expensive State, and one of the most expensive areas within it, in which to live.

Thank you TFP! You guys are.the.best.

Silver,

Almost all of us are volunteers and enjoy giving of our time to help pool owners just like you. But, without supporters, we would no have a place to provide that support.. :(

In my case, I am also a sustaining supporter.... It is the only place I have ever 'worked' where I have to pay them...

Thanks,

Jim R.

They keep adding zeros to my paycheck, but when the first number is also a zero, it's kinda a moot point to get $00000000.00 next time.

But it's the thought that counts. :ROFLMAO:
