We have our official second year with this pool.
At closing last fall we noticed the liner is in need of stretching, but there are tiny rips in it so we figure might as well replace it.
For those of you who have replaced the vinyl liner, is there anything that we should be aware of when calling for quotes?

First and foremost, do you have documentation? Specifically the serial number and manufacturer of the liner?

That will save a ton of money...they can cut you a new one with that info. If you cannot find it,
you might find it behind the liner itself in the shallow end printed on.

Otherwise they will have to come out and custom measure.

I actually do have the paperwork that the previous owners left.
The bummer is that they never sent in the warranty form, because apparently this has a 20 year pro rated. So we would only of had to pay 60%.
However, the liner was installed in 2004, and it is already 100% faded, and has rips.
Is that normal wear?

Southbridge is quite a ways away from our house. Now, if our rental property had a pool, it is the next town over.
Maybe I will still give them a ring a ding
