Is a liner lock recommended for a new pool liner? The old liner came loose in several spots and tore. The new on has just come loose in a small area of the shallow end. I was quoted $200 for liner lock and installation.

What is holding the liner in the track now?
I have a bunch of liner lock here and there around holding mine in,
but it came that way when I bought the house.

& the sag can be a symptom of age, mismanaged water levels (low or high) or the extrusion failing.
New vinyl is very supple & i wouldn’t be surprised by a fresh “sag” here or there, but correct it promptly.
Liner fastening is very similar to a zip loc bag.
Upon opening, I discovered that my liner, installed new last year, had come apart from the pool wall in 3 places. It's under warranty. I dropped the water level and somebody will be here tomorrow. But this never happened in 18 years and one other replacement. I'm already freaked out about next year's opening (sorry, OCD). What about the water that got under the lining? What is Liner Lock and why wasn't it used in the first place?
