Hello all. after 4 years of no issues in pool, this year Opened it and found it greenish with debri at floor. It was translucent.
Lots of people trying to scam me for this and that to buy to fix. So Instumpbled upon TFP forums and learnt a lot from others experience. Trying to lear water testing here. Pool ahas been shocked but pressure keeps dropping after 8 hours and needs backwash. I am guessing PH, CYA or something or stll not enough FC.?

Get a good test kit. Link-->Test Kits Compared
Add 3ppm of liquid chlorine per day until the kit arrives.
Then follow the SLAM process to clear the pool. Link-->SLAM Process

This is confusing to me...do you mean rising?
