New in ground Shotcrete Pool Build in South Florida.

Plaster manufacturer instructions said to keep the ph between 6.5 and 7. Im aiming somewhere in the middle. said to adjust alkalinity to 70ppm and check ph and if still above 7 to use acid to lower it. I will add stabilizer and check ph before adding acid. Hopefully I'm doing things right, thanks for the heads up. pool has 29.5k gallons, but i sure don't want to over treat.

So here I come with another question. Our plaster is just over 30 days old and it's rather blotchy, PB brought back the plaster guy and they want to dump 12gallons of acid into the pool. Plaster guy says there was not sufficient acid dumped in during initial start up. Should I be ok with this??? Pool was brushed daily..

On another note, I installed outdoor speakers and furniture is set to be delivered on Friday. Will post pictures when it's all set up.

Hey CC. Thanks for asking. We actually added 12gallons of muratic acid to the pool on Monday. been brushing again like crazy. Plaster really looks a lot better and we are very happy with it now, apparently not enough acid was put in during start up. I'm planning on bringing the ph back up tomorrow and start stabilizing the water again . I will post some pictures of plaster, furniture, and outdoor speakers here soon. We still have landscaping left to do and 1 more inspection

Thank you 4x4. We are in it every chance we get and water temp is up to 89-90 deg. Haven't updated in a while because not much has changed. However we did received most of our outdoor furniture. (Still missing some cushion covers and the dinning table.

Slide should be going up in the next few weeks and landscaping as well.

Water color after acid re-treatment. We are very happy with the outcome.

One more update since we finished the landscape. Put down new sod, Planted 3 coconut trees and 2 canary palms, installed RGB Led lights to all palm trees and set up a backyard theater.

The slide its awesome, but it didn't get much use as the water temp started dropping and we are a bunch of babies here. the spa however gets used almost every weekend as we make it nice and toasty.

180" outdoor screen and projector. Superbowl sunday here we come.

On the downside, we have a pressure side water leak. PB already came out and should be back to fix it on tuesday. Hopefully its not major destruction.

Thanks Kim. It has really been a journey. Sweet CC make sure to keep us updated. Hey dumbcluck the projector is an optoma hd25lv, after some research we were able to use the projector throw calculator and match it to the selected screen size. We are pretty pleased with the picture size and quality.

Amazing! Woao just beautiful. Great taste too. Enjoy it and go Dolphins!

One a side note: what are you doing about the Mosquitos? I am going to declare war against them the moment my pool is filled. We've spent too much $$$ and headaches to let them hijack our patios.
