New home, newbie pool owner

Hi everyone!
We purchased our home in Florida with an in-ground pool in good shape from all I can see. We moved from PA. First time to have a pool. Got a salt system and heater put in immediately. Currently have a pool service coming out every week to clean since I have no idea yet what I am doing and a new gem coat was done before the house was put on the market. Don’t want to mess up so joined this forum to learn and eventually be able to care for the pool myself.

Welcome. I also moved from PA to the south (well, in a round about way.. but ultimately the same story), and eventually ended up buying a house with a pool I knew nothing about. If you're willing to learn, the folks here will set you on the right path! And remember, no pool service will ever care as much about your investment as you do.
