Our pool was finally finished after almost 20 months. We did all the brushing and my hubby is intense about keeping the chemicals balanced. Had a pool before. No issues. Now I am getting a rash on the back of my legs where my skin comes in contact with the plaster. Pool has had water in it for 2 months. Only 3rd time in and it is not good. Any advice?

Welcome! The best place to start is by posting a full set of water test results from your TF-Series (or Taylor K_2006C) test kit. It all starts there. Since this is the Intro Yourself sub-forum, you might consider starting a new thread in the Testing & Balancing sub-forum so we can keep all subject replies in the right place. We'll do our best to help.

58,

Welcome to TFP..

You don't have a plaster problem, you have water problem..

The main problem is that your idea of "chemical balanced" is no where near what we call balanced..

You should take a long read through our Pool School and see what we are all about.

Thanks,

Jim R.
