New here and looking at building our 1st pool

Looking at contractors now for an in ground pool. Thinking about 15x35 or 15x40 size pool for my yard (.50 acres).
Not sold on gunite vs fiberglass yet ?

will be building in the Baton Rouge area. Any recommendations for contractors?

Hello Fozzybo, welcome to TFP :hand:
Are you interested in a pool deep enough to dive in? A gunite pool will give you more depth usually. The size you seek is good for a variety of uses - shallow end games, deep end diving and fun.
