New Hayward Ozone pool owner here

Please print the SLAM instructions out. Read them a couple times, then keep it with you. Link-->SLAM Process

Give me a full set of test results and I'll get your started. FC, CC, pH, TA, CH, and CYA.

You use enough to get to SLAM level FC. Wait 2-3 hours, test FC and raise from that FC to SLAM level. Continue the process of replacing to SLAM level until:
1)oclt <=1
2)cc<1
3) Clear pool.

Okay I am at work I will test later today

Your CYA is 70. Always round up to the next 10.

Use that CYA and find your SLAM level FC here. Select SLAM level. Link-->FC/CYA Levels

Lower your pH below 7.5 before you raise FC to slam level.

Follow the process...

No it is not. What do you mean by "it's"?

Pool math?
Use pool math. Go to effects of adding. Enter liquid chlorine, % concentration, then adjust the ounces to get from your current FC of 2 to 28FC. Make sure your pool size is accurate.

Slam process?
If you mean the instruction to PURCHASE twice the amount to get from 0FC to SLAM FC, that is just a purchase, not the addition.

Print out the slam process and read it 3 times.

You put enough in each time to get from your current FC to SLAM level FC, based on your pool size, you need to calculate how much to add each time.

Let's make sure you understand before you do anything...

Yes I meant it's the pool math app...
I am not 100% sure of my pool size but it should be very close
Okay so I start at 2 and go to 5 then from 5 to 28
When you say each time
So I go from 2 to 5 then I test in 2 hours and see where it is???? Until I get to 28?

Sorry just not 100 %

I have read it at least 3 times

I need the pool volume. Do you have anything with the pool volume on it?
What is the depth of the water (floor to waterline)? Is it all one depth?

Here are two screen caps. Go to pool math overview, click on FC. you should see the screen below. Read carefully, there are two screen shots in this post.
First screen, your current FC is 2, to get to target of 28, press the pink slam check, should enter 28 for target. You add 5G, 1Q of 10% liquid chlorine. Change the 10 to 12.5% if that is what you have and you will get a different amount.

AFTER 2-3 hours, test FC again, enter that number in "Current Free Chlorine." In this example I used a test of 25. Select slam check, and to get to 28 you would add 2Q, 1.5C (forget the tsp...)

Repeat this process until you meet all three slam criteria.

I will fill this out later....
I wish we had this filled out, we would not be going back and forth on pool size, equipment to help you figure out the pump. It is really tedious.

Can you Please, pretty please, with sugar on top, fill out your signature. Include all details, make model etc. Automation, everything.

That way we can help you figure out your pump tonight.

Signature is empty and not showing anything. Go back to the article and read it again....I'm looking for you to fill out your SIGNATURE, not your PROFILE.

Did you add the chlorine? Do you understand the process?
