Hi My Name is Beth, we are starting our second pool build in 2 years. We sold our home 2 weeks after getting keys. Anyhow, I decided to add a spa this time around. My new pool is 18 x 34 with a perimeter of 96ft 3.5 ft to 6ft deep. I’m wondering if this is going to be big enough for family of 4?

Size in pools (as with most things ) is a matter of preference. Depends on your usage. I think 18x34 is plenty big. A lot I think depends on how old your kids are, what you use the pool for (laps, play, volleyball,...), the shallow end to deep end ratio, the size of your yard.

I don't think there's really a technical answer to that question. But good luck with the build.

Our pool is 16 x 40, from 3.5 to about 7'. I would say your pool size will be just fine. Enjoy, and welcome to the forum.
