new flow switch, still no flow Hayward Goldline Aqua Plus control panel

Hi, after weedwacking I accidentally got the flow switch wire caught in the weed trimmer. It obviously snapped the line. I originally spliced it back together and still no flow. I bought a replacement on amazon and still getting the no flow. I manually tested the new switch without installing into the T. I noticed when I was using the new flow switch that the port where you plug the phone jack in was pulled down a bit. I pushed it back into place. My concern is that the force of the weed trimmer yanking on the cord damaged the control board???? Any advice would be appreciated.

The phone jack connection is directly attached to the bottom of the board. You may have pulled it off. Open up the case and take a look.

Thanks, yes I see where I'm supposed to plug it in. I took a pic withe the phone receptacle on and off.

you can try to bend the pins back carefully, only 2 of the middle pins matter, or you can solder another phone jack to the PCB.
