Busted my old relief valve putting on a new pressure gauge. Bought a new one this morning and won't screw in straight. Straight is needed so the o-ring will engage.
That might fit, but are you sure that's the right part? Per your sig, you have a Hayward Super Star-Clear C4000. My parts list shows the correct mfg part # DEX2400s. May want to check to make sure, good luck.
Just a quick update. Looks like the threads inside the top of the filter was stripped enough where it wouldn't take a new relief valve. Enter a Shiner Bock beer cap and liquid nails. Works like a charm!
