I bought a pressure gauge from TFTestKits and want to replace the existing pressure gauge in my Jandy DEV60. The new gauge is bigger than the original one and I can’t use the original plastic cover and am not sure I’m getting enough threads installing the new one. Can this new gauge be used on this filter without the plastic cover?

Since you have that apart, is there any way to take the plastic face off the gauge? Mines fogged up on the inside and probably just needs a good cleaning.
I don’t have same filter but had to extend mine last year and used a brass nipple to extend it

I don't see any way to take the cover off the old gauge itself. In fact, I may have cracked the cover a little trying to get it off.
I will try that. I may just buy the OEM full part with gauge if it doesn't work out.
