New fill start on chemical

This forum help me with my intex pool.
Just had our new above ground pool installed and currently filling with water hose.
How much chrolene and stabilizer do I need to start with fresh fill?
24' circle 48" water.
I used liquid chroline on my last pool.
Based on others advice I would weigh my stabilizer and put in a sock and hang sock on return line squeezing sock.

I tried the app not having any luck with it.
I have bought my test kit from this site large kit and daily chrolene and pH check.
After a week I'm finding about 30 ounces of liquid chrolene to go from 1to 3 on the yellow scale every morning.
First started I added 4lbs of equalizer.
I added to skimmer basket but warning on skimmer basket says not to add chemicals at that location.
If I just poor in pool equalizer sits at bottom of pool.
I have read this can stain linear
I would like a suggestion of hpw to deliver equalizer.
My small pool I used a sock. But with 4lbs I would need more socks.

Bump. Just curious if dropping from yellow scale 3 to 1 or .5 chrolene is OK daily?

Test your cyanuric acid (stabilizer), enter it into PoolMath, and it'll tell you what your FC level needs to be.

The test can be a little tricky, but this post has some great tips.

The warning on the skimmers not to add chemicals there is probably aimed towards trichlor tablets, which will eat away at your equipment. Adding plain stabilizer there inside a sock won't cause harm like this. If you can't fit it all in one sock, just keep refilling the sock until the necessary amount has been added.
