New fill after coping renovation

We recently had our old brick paver coping removed and had new PA Flagstone coping installed. Tomorrow is pool fill day, finally! I haven’t started from scratch with a new fill in about 8 years or so, and now sure where to start.
I am thinking that I will need to add some shock just to get things started? Or do I skip that and go straight to adding salt for my SWG to start working? Do I test PH and TA and everything right off the bat? Or wait until the chlorine is an acceptable level of 4-5ish?
How soon can we swim with new fill?
Thank you for any guidance you can provide! This took much longer than anticipated and we’ve been missing our pool, so anxious to get it all back up and running. PB said we would be swimming by 4th of July and that didn’t happen.

Add 3-5 ppm FC worth of liquid chlorine. Add 40 ppm of CYA via the sock method. Test pH and TA and adjust pH as necessary. Add salt. Keep adding liquid chlorine each day until the salt is fully dissolved and the SWCG is happy. Set the SWCG to generate 3-4 ppm FC per day. Test CYA after it has been dissolved for a couple days and then add more to get to 70 ppm. Monitor FC and adjust SWCG to keep FC in target range. Test CH and add calcium, if necessary.

Great! Thank you so much. At least I know where to start. Getting to it right now as the water tankers are just finishing up.
