New fiberglass pool is full of cracks... HELP!

Wow! I remember reading this thread when I built my pool last year and was surprised to see it again when I came back to post in one of my old threads that was recently resurrected.

I am very glad you have a pool and am sure you will soon have a beautiful deck to match. Don't give up yet (easy for me to say I know)!

Hi Michael, First of all, I want to join with everyone else here in saying that I am truly sorry for what you have had to go through, but I completely agree with your approach and applaud your perseverance. People like this should not be allowed to get away with what they tried to here. After reading all of the posts, we were so relieved to hear that things are looking up and you have a new install (despite the recent challenges with the decking). I am sure I'm not alone in saying that we'd all love to see pics of the process (removal of the old, install of the new)!

I can not only sympathize, but actually empathize, with everything you went through, including, but not limited to; the emotional impact (stress, sleepless nights, nausea, your children's heartbreak, etc.) this has had on you and your family, the financial burden, and the blatant lack of ethical and professional responsibility you had to go up against. Again, we applaud and respect you for standing your ground. It's a shame that you had to go through all this. I would really like to learn more about your experience, so if you are willing, please PM me.

We wish you all the best of luck and enjoyment of your new pool, and THANK YOU for sharing your experience with all of us.

Things had been progressing fairly well (though slowly), but unfortunately we appear to be heading down the wrong path again. The builder is refusing to remedy a significant construction defect, and is not abiding by the financial terms of our agreement. Of course, there’s much more to the story than that, which I’ll get into later once I know more of the situation.
