New dirt/dust on pool floor daily. above ground

Hi everyone, it's been a while! I have learned so much since last summer and have turned other friends to you guys and this way. I have a question though that I hope is simple to answer...

My pool looks and basically is crystal clear. However every day when I go out to scrub the floor to check, I see clouds of dust move all over. I vacuum it all up, backwash, etc. scrub again and nothing comes up. Well next day I come out, brush, and the clouds puff up again. It's all on the pool surface, so while it looks very clear, every day I go out and a light layer of dust comes up. I don't know if this is a minor algae outbreak or just dust in the air settling. Any thoughts?

Have you been keeping up your FC per the FC/CYA chart? If you are in doubt, you could do an OCLT.

Its also pollen season, so you could be seeing that also. Run the OCLT and that will tell you if its algae or not.

Did the OCLT and came back 19 FC before bed and 17 FC upon waking. No CC.

That is greater than 1. I would suggest SLAM Process. Should be quick.
