I didn't see it mentioned, but make sure you get a separate vacuum port so you don't have to vacuum from your skimmer.

I'm sure you seen people manually vacuum a pool. Well the suction comes from your pump. You pump pulls from the main drain, skimmer, and hopefully vacuum port (its just another suction port on the wall of your pool). I have an older pool that doesn't have one, so if I vacuum or hook up my kreepy krauler, I have to take my skimmer basket out and plug it into there. Some people leave the suction side vacuums in all the time, but its not good to disable your skimmer at the same time.

And the weather is going to be HOT this week. I try to keep the workers hydrated by giving them cold of bottles of water. I wonder where they go to use the restrooms if most places are closed due to covid?

My builder is putting a porta potty outside my house. Fortunately for us, it's not as hot as it Is in Riverside. How did you guys fair with the Apple fire?

My drive looks like that too, and your yard looks like mine did a few days ago. It's crazy watching it all get demolished.

I would go with the micro brites as they use a standard screw-in niche. Lights will fail at some point and you will have the option of using another mfr. when it happens.
