After working on the quote process and meeting with builders we've finally closed in on a design.

Gunite 18'x38' rectangle with 3.5-6' depth includes a tanning ledge with interior spa package.

ensure the skimmers are independently plumbed back to the equipment pad. I think you should have at least 3 returns if not 4. One on each wall

Suggest you ask for an Intellicenter automation over the EasyTouch and Screenlogic which is over 10 yrs old. It is the newest technology

Ensure the plumbing line to the bubbler and to the scuppers are independent lines. Also add a Jandy type 2-way valve on each line so there is control of flow. Avoid the use of plastic ball valves which can fail.

Make sure there is a light over the equipment pad. Much better than having to try to hold a flashlight on a dark night.

A hose bib by the equipment will be helpful also so you can clean the filter right there.
