New build in Vegas

We are having to check out travertine now as there was a mix up and now the pavers just don't go plus they are super pink in color. I had not looked at travertine prior but am really liking the silver and love the French pattern. The bull nose pieces are obviously more expensive due to the work to finish them that way. Thoughts on not doing bull nose for coping?

Our initial thought was to use regular pavers and have the edge rounded when they were installed. For our area it turns out the price was only a couple dollars more per sf for the bull nosed coping pieces. I have seen several builds where they rounded pavers and it came out quite nice.

Im amazed at the different prices for travertine throughout the country. For us here in Las Vegas, the price between spray deck and pavers is minimal.

We have to do a paver of some sort as the deck is going to cover the clean out pipe to the septic tank so we are going to have one paver over the cap hiding it but easily lifted away if we need to get in there. We think the pavers are around $2.50-3.50 a sq ft with labor but the color variances are what triggered an issue along with the supplier store sending us 2 brands and colors of stone and tried to say it was the same. So we are now switching from concrete pavers and trying to price out travertine pavers. I found some from Travertine Mart, which apparently many TFP members have used, and it is $4.38 a sq ft and that's doing the French pattern. But the bull nose coping is $5.50-8.50 a sq foot and PB said we need 260 pieces.

It is crazy how much prices and all vary throughout the country. I am hoping we can get a good price on travertine as it is brought into the US here in FL and we can drive down and pick it up directly using my horse trailer. Fingers crossed.
