Our pool build has finally started. The plan is 15X25 rectangular, 4 feet to 6 feet deep, bench across both the shallow and deep end with 1 step in each corner of the deep end to step out. The plan for equipment is pentair intelliflo vs, CCP 320 filter, max-e-therm 333k BTU heater, easy touch with ic40 integrated. Here are some dig and rebar pics. How does everything look so far?

My concern is you have rebar running along the ground. The rebar is usually propped up on rocks or plastic pegs so that the gunite can get below the rebar and encapsulate it. You want the rebar in the middle of the gunite and not along the bottom of it.

Look at the rocks holding up the rebar on the floor of these pools...

Gunite was shot yesterday. Starting to look more an more like a pool. Seems there are more returns than I was expecting (5?). Are all of the PVC pipes that go through the shell water returns or are there other things they can be used for?

What type of pool lights are you getting?

What type of pool cleaner?

The light is in there too. It’s an incandescent pool light. The 5 pvc pipes are in addition to the light and the skimmers. It looks like there are 4 on one side and on between the skimmers above the light on the other side.

The plan is for a robot for pool cleaning, but it’s possible the PB added another return to add a pressure cleaner at some point in the future?

Weren’t you given a pool design or drawing or set of plans from the builder?

Guess you have to ask the pool builder what you bought and what he built.
