New build in MA

Thanks, Bmoreswim. I can totally see that already, but I'm taking baby steps right now. The guy said my water looked perfect but I needed stabilizer because my chlorine level was so low. Of course there couldn't possibly be any other reason why my levels were low....?

Can I ask who the builder was? Beautiful !
Thank you. This was Easton pool & spa in Easton, MA.

How much sun & shade do you get? You have a lot of trees. The pool is gorgeous. I'm wondering about the surround... How do you like your heater vs. getting a heat pump?

We get a good mix. Some areas get a good amount of shade, but most are full sun. We’re still working towards finalizing our privacy screen of plantings. Pool house maybe 2 years away.

I dont have any experience with a heat pump, so I couldn’t say. Not sure what people do with heaters, but we keep ours set at 70 degree min and let the sun take it up from there. We always have the spa for people who get cold.

Almost done. Need a screen/fence for the filter and the cabana, which is a couple years away.

So much to like about your setup! Beautiful! My favorite is the overall aesthetic. Nothing that you see anywhere detracts from the ambiance - I call it the Disney effect. Yes, you could hide the equipment, but I don't consider a well laid out equipment bad a visual detraction. Possibly some decorative grasses instead of fencing? I wouldn't want to see a slab of fencing inside the metal fenced area.

Thank you. We did the shrubs around the metal fence a few weeks ago, and I just realized that my most recent pics were still all sand. Yes, we've got the filter exposed and have bought a couple nice big grasses, but we're also going to do 3 or so fence panels for the grasses to go in front of. I wanted the panels so I could hide all the oversized pool floats when they're not in use -- the kids love those, but they're so ugly.
