Generally it's ok but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't seen some issues with downpours during gunite - anything is fixable - and it's not your dime. But rather than bore you with those, how about telling us how the shell looks? Were there any downpours during it? Any erosion?
Oh yeah, that link is there for photos! The two issues I've seen are erosion of top layers in trenches which occurred in downpours immediately after the shoot. The other one was an area down low that blew out from water that must have gone down behind the shell and forced its way through. So far I don't see any of those issues being likely. I also saw that the radar this morning did you a favor. There was a pretty heavy batch that stayed north of you for almost all of the morning. And it's done for now it looks like.
I'd be breathing a sigh of relief/relaxation about now. How do depths look on steps, shelf, etc.? Dont' be afraid to take a tape measure out and ask questions if you aren't sure.
Thanks I have been reading and need to get my test kit. I am watering 2-3x a day. I was actually in the pool last night walking around. I measured the depth and it looks like they hit the 9 feet too! While in the deep end I could feel the heat radiating off the walls. But I almost get the idea that watering the shell is like a snipe hunt. Not sure it is doing anything.
There is a strange green water (a couple of gallons - just a puddle) in the deep end. I assume some sort of run-off from the concrete. The color was odd though I don't think it is algae. It appeared right away.
Also they put 4 of those pressure relief holes in the bottom - is that standard?
I would find a way to blow the water out or suck it out depending on what machines you have on hand. THEN I would put chlorine in and let it sit for a while the flush that out. Be ready to find a way to "seal" it all up so this does not happen again.
