Hi, I am new here. Just spent the past 3 days setting up and filling our Bestway 16x31.4 rectangle above ground but noticed today about 3 inches from 90% capacity that one of the corners is not square. One side is less into the top rail than the other side and seems to be putting so much pressure on that the top rail has started to split. Will the pressure equalize or do we have to drain? TIA. Pictures attached.

Hi, welcome to TFP! Is the piece in question metal or plastic? Normally the corners in these pools float to allow some movement and the corner pieces slide back and forth a little bit. I am assuming this is a new pool and the first time it has been set up. Have you checked the pool for level?

Hi I just set up my 16x31.4 pool and had a question, while it was being filled did the sides bow in?

That is quite common on these pools and they should straighten once the pool is filled. However yours seem quite excessive but it could just be the angle of the photo (and I’m no expert).
Can I check,
- did you put supports under the legs or is it sat on the ground?
- is the ground level all over (at most within an inch difference?)
- did you pull the legs out whilst it was in the early stages of filling?

It doesn't look right. How are the other corners? Does that side bar have room to slide off the corner on the far end of it and more into this corner?

If it were me I'd be using a sledgehammer to see if I could knock it into place, but I don't think I can call that good advice.

I did not put supports under the legs but the ground is leveled and compacted and I pulled the legs out several times in the early stages of filling. The Boeing has corrected itself a lot and it is about 3/4 full
