Hi

In the process of building a "low budget" above ground cement pool (3,6 m x 4,8 m x 1,2 m) as a replacement for my old intex pool.

I was actually planning on using my old Intex Sandfilter pump, but then saw a company here in Thailand selling "Complete sets", which would be super easy to attach and get running.

I was looking at something like this... Complete set 20Q-30Q ประกอบเสร็จพร้อมใช้งาน ระบบคลอรีน WIN WIN POOL - winwinpoolshop

My worries are, if this would be too big from my pool size???? It says flowrate of 8 m3/hour.

Would truly appreciate any feedback.

Thanks and have a great day out there :)

I don't know anything about the specific equipment you linked to but you can't have too big for your pool. You can always install a valve to choke down the flow rate if it is too high pressure for you. I doubt it will be.

That system has a flow rate of about 37 gallons per minute in US measurement. That is not too large for your pool, even with only one return. Be sure to direct the return flow down and away from your skimmer to get the best circulation and mixing that you can.

Thanks so much for the reply. I ordered the set now and look forward to getting it hooked up and the pool done.

That looks like a great pool! We'd love to see more pictures as you go on.

Thanks. I wish it could have been a bit bigger, but it will be a great “play” pool and will fit perfectly into a part of my garden that I never use.

Also enjoy it as a “DIY” project and at a total cost of only USD 4.500 it’s definitely worth it.

Will post more pics of the progress.

Finally got my low-cost above ground pool done. Super happy with the final result.
