Chlorine
Salt Water Generator
SWG Type
Pentair Intellichlor IC-40
numbers are as follows:

PH 7.2
TA 90
CH 475
CYA 80
Water temp 64*
Salt 3900
BOR 50

According to the pool math app, these numbers are within target, close to ideal. CSI shows -.64

how can I raise CSI and get close to zero?

With cooler water, your pH is on the low end. Let the pH rise up to about 7.6-7.8 and you should be fine.

PH can be raised in three ways: borax, soda ash, and aeration. Borax is usually the best choice.
The Ph is purposely low and am aerating, to lower the TA. It was at 110 a few days ago

Don't be so eager to lower the TA.

If the pH gets to 7.9 or 8.0, lower the pH to 7.8, and not lower.

I would just allow the pH to rise back up naturally from aeration.

I would not intentionally try to lower the TA any more.

As you add acid to lower the pH to 7.8, the TA will reach a natural equilibrium.

Will that help with the CSI aswell?
