The last month has me adding acid weekly to bring pH down to 7.8. Is there anything else I should Target?

What is driving your pH above 8? Do you run the spillover spa all the time? Do you have any kind of automation?
No automation, but yes the spill over spa does run with the pool filter run time. It has always been this way, the problem has been only the last month or so.

That provides extra aeration! The good kind.
Just keep adding the acid, if necessary. With your TA of 60 I would think it would stabilize. Reduce the spillover as much as possible to reduce that source of aeration.

7.8 pH is fine. Your TA is approaching the low end of the range, so be aware of that.
Yes, I will keep an eye on it . Thank you again ! I have had the best 2 season in 25 yrs using TFP !
