It is solid plastic. Looks like there may be moisture on the outlet side...ensure both of the input and output rings are tight.
It is also possible that the o-ring on the drain plug (bottom of the photo in your pic). You can try the plug and lubricate the o-ring with a silicone LUBRICANT like magic lube II (NOT SEALANT). Do not use a teflon/ptfe based lubricant. If that does not work, replace the o-ring. They go bad and many of us replace all o-rings on an annual basis to avoid issues...cheap insurance for the pool season.
I have the same unit and I was leaking at the drain plug. Magic Lubed it and no problems since then. Just make sure everything is tightened down and fell at each connection to see if it is wet. There are only 5 of them.
