I would say ph is around 6.9 or 7. It is just slightly more red than 6.8 color.

Given the clarity of the water, and the fact that most of what I saw tonight while vac'ing was stains, not algae, combined with the FC only dropping to 4.5 from 6 this morning, and cc dropped from 1.5 to .5, I am going to do the overnight loss test. I hope tomorrow night, I can borax, test ph, adjust ta, and buy some floats saturday?? I noticed a fairly clean patch in the middle of a stain, so they have been there a while. I may just wait on that lol

I would still SLAM through the end of tomorrow and see if the CC will drop to 0. I bet you can get more clarity too.

No, you won't be able to test the PH tomorrow if it is above 10FC. Don't add tonight

This way you know you are below 10 in the morning. Just bring it back to shock level FC after you know the PH is right. Then do a OLCT tomorrow night.
