My Pentair Superflo VS pump stop working..

Aln,

Did you reset the breaker? Could have popped just half of the breaker?

Other than that the next thing you need to do is test the voltage between L1 and L2 right at the pump. (Do not test L1 to ground and L2 to ground, as that is not a valid test with the pump installed)

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thanks for your quick response. I have an electrician here testing everything here for me. He tested everything from the panel to pump. All received 116.3 V. Not sure what to do next. I bought this pump back in 2017 May.

aln,

I suspect your electrician knows this already, but if the circuit breaker has some resistance, it could cause the voltage at the pump to drop when running.

If this were my pool, I would try a new Circuit Breaker, before buying a new pump.

Is the pump still under warranty, if so, I would call Pentair a file a warranty claim.

Thanks,

Jim R.

Thank again. I just contacted Pentair for warranty. I assume my pool is gonna be down for a while[emoji21][emoji21]. What should I do in the mean time to keep my pool clean. It's started to get a bit cloudy (day 4).
Thanks again in advance

Aln,

I would add a jug of plain 6% bleach every day and stir it into your pool with a pool broom or leaf net.

Or half a jug of 12.5% liquid chlorine...

Either will keep your FC up and should keep your pool clear... until you can get your pump fixed..

What is your current FC level??

Thanks,

Jim R.
