Getting ERR 000F on the unit after power up, then immediately trips the breaker. The home recently suffered flood damage from hurricane Helene and the pump would have been submerged. I understand the breaker/wiring side is the first place to look with this error, however I suspect the motor is shorted and the draw is what's tripping the breaker.
I'd like to replace what's needed and not what's still working just fine. If the drive unit is powering on, going through the initial self test and then throwing the error, would it be safe to assume it's working fine and the motor or breaker are the issue? Or would it be best to just replace the motor and driver assembly together?
Anything else I can test? I'm going to test the voltage at L1 and L2 tomorrow just to confirm source voltage is good.
