I can’t get a hold of it. On a positive note it seems to be going away
So how long should this slam actually take. The residue seems to be almost gone but I'm more then a week into this thing. Feel like it is taking way longer then it should.
It depends, SLAMs differ from pool to pool based on a lot of factors, including how often you are able to test and bump FC back up. Let’s have a look at your latest numbers, and a photo!

Testing depends on if my wife is home during the day. If not once in the morning and then not till about 4pm. After that it's every 2 hours till I go to bed.

I'm not sure. I do still lose quite a bit FC over night.

They look good... looks like you are targeting CYA 50, which is good since 40 was still visible. How much chlorine are you losing overnight?

Well some how it went up over night. FC was 22 at about 10pm last night and it had been about an hour and a half since last chemical addition. This morning at 6:30 it was 24. So I'm not sure what's going on here. I tested it twice this morning and got the same number both times.
How long did you wait to test after you dosed? Do you dose and test in the same area of the pool? Where did you take the water from this morning? Could be a matter of concentration.
I wait at least 2hrs until I test after dosing. Also I dose in front of the return and test on the opposite side of the pool.
