I’ve noticed on my pool math app that there are many different types of Muriatic acid(% wise). Which is the best to use for lowering PH and cleaning salt cell or doesn’t it mater??

The higher the acid % is, the stronger it is, and the less you need to use.
I use 31% which is the highest strength you can get to lower pH.
Use a lower % and it will take more to get the same effect.

Sorry I edited it. I meant salt cell and basically just wasn’t sure if certain % was harsher on pool or equipment but reading your comment I imagine wouldn’t make a difference cause you would use less or more depending on %. Thx appreciate response

You clean a salt cell with a diluted muriatic solution as a last resort. The lower % needs less dilution.
