We have noticed our pH seems to be rising more than it used too... so we have to add muratic acid every couple weeks (no big deal)... my question is we have a few stains (we just replastered our pool a couple years ago)... I have seen these brushes that have a reservoir to pour muratic acid in for spot cleaning... do you recommend using them, or what would you recommend for spot stains? (In theory I like this method since we need to add muratic acid anyway)... thoughts? Experiences? Recommendations?

If the stain is organic or copper, those can be useful. Others here have used them. Just be careful to brush and monitor to not cause any adverse color changes. If the staining is iron, you'll need to use ascorbic acid or Vitamin C tablets.
