Dumped a jug of chlorine in pool, turned SWG onto super chlorinate and fired up bot...

How long before we can swim again?

Have a bunch of boys coming over today for a swim...bloody murphy's law strikes again...

If your FC didn't drop, and the CC didn't jump up, I wouldn't worry about it. When such things happen to me I usually see the CC show up if it's been in there for any time at all. Doesn't look like it was there long enough to have any real effect on the pool chemistry. I would just bump my FC up around 15-20 before the boys arrive. Then again after they leave.

The pool is safe to use anytime the pool is between your minimum FC and the shock level. With a CYA of 60 that is a FC between a low of 3 and high of 24.

Thanks. Makes me feel a bit better. Have been monitoring FC and CC for past hour, and they seem stable...
