Hey folks.
The motor on my pump (V-Green 165 - see signature) is about 1 month old and I used new shaft seals while doing the swap. A few days ago I caught it making a horrible squealing noise while running on its low speed (850RPM) cycle. It has always squeaked briefly when turning on/off but I hadn't thought anything about it.
Manufacturer wants me to disassemble it, take photos and has warned that a warranty claim will be denied if it's an installation error. Of course given it's not been installed long I don't think there would be lasting damage even if I did so the seals wrong.
Based on the sound alone, does anyone have an opinion as to what it sounds like? I don't want to embarrass myself by pushing things with them if it's my mistake, but equally don't want to be a pushover.
