more pump run time?

An OCLT must be done after dark and before sunrise... I suspect the sun is up way before 8 am...
If this were my pool, I would do a quick SLAM just to make sure.. Should not take long.

Yes, the sun will rise around 730ish and sets around 8ish . But I get no direct sun light on my pool except from 11-6, if that even matters.
Heres a pic of tree debris Ive been getting excessively this past few weeks. It clogs up my skimmer sock every day.

I say you are NOT DONE even if it were good I recommend going it a second time. Borderline OCLT is one of the main problems when people call it done to early and pool turns green again.
Even though I got a new salt cell the other day, just got the error message "check cell/ no flow"!
I am so close to ripping this Jandy setup out of the ground and personally delivering it back to Zodiac!

I have never been impressed with the TruClear. My take is Jandy made a low end cheaper to build and lower sales price product to appeal to price sensitive buyers. The quality shows. The Jandy AquaPure is a higher end product with a higher price.

Hey Adam!
Just wanted to give you a update.
I was able to get ahold of the builder. The local factory service guy gave me a new chlorinator cell to install the other day. It worked fine since Wednesday when ever I checked on it. I just went outside to look at the display panel and saw “no flow/ check cell.”
The service guy said the squealing may be a piece of sand in the bearing or something might be grinding up against the impeller in the pump.
He said he was going to try and get out here next week to look at the system.
I have to be honest. I am so close to tearing all this equipment out and going with another brand. I have had nothing but issues from the first month of ownership. From a 4 year old pump, squealing on the first pump, wifi connection issues (WIFI booster outside doesn’t help much,) phone app issues, to now a pump that squeals even louder and (2) salt cells that are not working.

And here’s a picture of the original cell that was replaced. Serial #’s are different.

I see unfair distribution of troubles at work all the time. Most customers never need me. Some customers need me on speed dial through no fault of my/their own. It’s just how the universe works sometimes. And it totally STINKS. I’m sorry bro.

I have a question about your pics... Is that the "new" cell??? If so, I can't understand the scale... I don't get that much scale in a year much less a few days...

Jim the video above is new cell. Picture above with video is old cell.
here are closeups of old cell. The white stuff appears to salt. If you rub it with your finger it comes off.

If salt it would dissolve in water.
Test some of it with acid. See if it fizzes a lot or a little.

Guess it was a very light coating of scale. It came off fast with a light acid mix.
